David Gibson
David joined Crutes in 2006. He qualified in 1997 and has experience of acting for national and multi national firms. David spent the first seven years of his career in London before returning to the North East in 2002 where he worked for another leading regional law firm.
He deals with contentious and non-contentious employment matters including TUPE and share transfers and advising clients on the implementation of work-life balance projects. David has a particular interest in the provisions of the Equality Act 2010. He regularly provides innovative training packages for employers in conjunction with other business service providers. David has experience in dealing with professional disciplinary panels including the SDT (including representation at full hearings).
David also speaks at external events on a broad range of employment issues, contributes regular articles for the regional press and trade publications, and teaches on Northumbria University LLM distance learning course in Employment Law and its professional legal practice course.
