Dawn Gibson
Consultant, Teacher, and Advocate in Ohio
I am a wife, mother, and grandmother who is energized by living in rural America. The country life has given me plenty of space to move, and think, along with many opportunities to witness God's beauty in nature. I've worked as a special education teacher, consultant, and advocate for 29 years. During that time, I have been privileged to teach in rural Appalachia, the urban inner city, the suburbs, and in the rural midwest farmland. I completed a Master's of Education in Special Education as well as a Graduate Level Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders in May of 2018. I have a passion to be a voice for those who are unable to speak for themselves. I am a co-founder of a monthly family support and networking group for families that have children with disability diagnoses. If you have questions, I can give you some solutions.
I also have a love of books, flea markets, social media, animals big and small, and talk radio. I think of myself as vintage with a twist. I love to travel and I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.
