I am a science major with a dangerously sweet tooth for sharing ideas and game-changing software. This blog is the main outlet for my thoughts on learning English. I turn to this blog after having sifted through an ocean of books, apps and learning strategies, most of which are sadly unworthy of nobody's time.

My main objective for this blog is to push for higher standards in language learning by promoting effective and efficient learning strategies: not everything out there works! It is relaxing to look at language learning as a lifelong endeavour, but when it comes to learning a foreign language for work/school purposes, most of us would agree that it is much better to achieve fluency as fast as possible. This brings me to my next point: it is critical to use only the best resources to steepen your learning curve.

I had to search high and low to find learning materials geared towards speedy and meaningful improvement, so the second purpose of this blog is to promote those resources that I go to most often when teaching and learning.
