Gigi Gaston, first shot on the scene with her screenplay Like A Lady which was purchased by Miramax (www.Miramax.com) for Drew Barrymore. She later sold a screenplay to New Line Entertainment (www.newline.com) with Steve Tisch producing and another to Imagine Entertainment (www.imagine-entertainment.com) with Ron Howard directing. She has since written and sold 4 other screenplays. She also directed her first documentary feature film Sophie B. Hawkins: The Cream Will Rise (http://thecreamwillrise.com/cream). The film received critical acclaim and was purchased by the Sundance Channel. Gigi was born to a very prominent political family. Her grandfather was the Governor of Massachusetts and her great-great grandfather was a member of the House of Representatives and a judge in North Carolina. A champion horsewoman from 8 years of age through thirty, Gigi also trained for the US Equestrian Team
