I'm interested in how society as a whole is about to change. For convenience, I divide it into offline and online spheres, and investigate how the two interact. Empirical social sciences, statistics, social networks, complexity sciences, mobile computing, futurology, etc. are what attract my attention these days. English and Korean are my primary languages. Educated at Seoul National, Columbia, and UCLA. Sociology professor at Hallym University since 2003, and visiting scholar to Stanford University (JAN 2011~JAN 2012ish).
