Gijs Oostendorp

I’m blessed with a name only a few outside of Holland can pronounce. I respond to Gus. Or you can call me ‘G’ for short, but that might send the wrong signal. Which is actually fascinating, the way popular culture affects things.

Regardless if I’m on my boat cruising the canals, diving in the local club scene, cooking up a mean Mussaman Curry, or build brands, I like to use my senses.

To me, being a creative strategist is about developing bright ideas.
Bright ideas are ideas driven by insight for innovative solutions that inspire.

Bright means being:

Smart: To solve complex problems demands being both analytical and creative.

Lucid: To see what´s at stake demands insightfulness and to foresee things demands vision.

Clear: Point out what's it all about. Unfold the essence.

Once the insights are connected to ideas, bright ideas are being created.

As you can see, it’s quite a challenge. But that’s maybe the reason why I like it so much. Check out some of the agencies and brands I've worked for.
