Gilberto Ferraz

Gilberto Ferraz is a well and long established Portuguese journalist, based in London for over 45 years and expert on Portuguese Affairs. Apart from that, his knowledge and experience over almost half a century of British affairs, some of them at the highest level, affords him equally an enviable view and considerable opinion. No wonder he is a well known writer and commentator on the main Portuguese and British media (newspapers and TV – RTP, BBC -and Radio- as well as Sky). He is also the author of Por Terras de Sua Majestade, a book that portrays his views on the UK, its peoples, history and experiences. As a second work, Gilberto Ferraz has written a book on East Timor, a subject that involved him in his professional life since the 80's and which afforded him oficial praise. His new work, Timor-Leste, Dívida Por Saldar refers to the great contribution of the British people and institutions, but NOT THEIR GOVERNMENT! to a CAUSE THAT LED TO THE INDEPENDENCE OF East Timor. I am particularly intetested in: International Relations, History, Literature (autobiographies and biographies), Psychology, Sociology and Environmental causes.
