Gilberto Perera

Gilberto is a management consultant currently enagaged with a Canadian electric utility to help implement the first formal management operating system in 14 Distribution operating centers throughout the province. Solutions being implemented include revamping the communications plan, defining key activities, implementing KPI-driven controls and putting in place a formalized loss time identification and resolution process.

Aside from his work as a process improvement expert, Gilberto is also a technology editor and a new media aficionado. He writes for five different sites covering two verticals (Jobs & Technology).

He was awarded the 2009 & 2010 MVP award from Microsoft for his contributions in forums and blogs, ran the Windows.About.com website from 2011-2012 and enjoys the time he gets with his family while at home.

He is currently working towards the PMP accreditation.
