Gilbert Romero
Regional Political Organizer in Phoenix, AZ
The son and grandson of migrant farmworkers, and first in his family to graduate college, Gilbert has dedicated his life to the service of others. He earned his B.A. from Arizona State University. He has worked as a community and political organizer for the past five years.
He had the privilege to run for the Arizona House of Representatives in the 2018 General Election on the Democratic ticket. He's served as Regional Political Organizer with Healthcare Rising Arizona advocating for healthcare justice in the state.
Gilbert served as an at-large delegate to represent Arizona at the Democratic National Convention in 2020. He's also a certified teacher in Arizona.
Gilbert is currently attending law school at Pace University in New York.
