Prior to coming to the Bar in 2002, I practised as a Clinical Psychologist in Adult services. After some years working in the NHS I subsequently converted to law. I currently have a legal practice specialising exclusively in Family work, in both public and private law matters. I have a particular interest in all children cases, and regularly appear for parents, for children and for Local Authorities in both the County Court and the High Court cases. I also have particular experience in cases involving Domestic Violence and abuse. Having completed my training in Family Mediation, I am now part of Fountain Mediation. This is an organisation comprised of 6 Barrister-Mediators offering all issues family mediations. I am committed to offering a bespoke, professional yet friendly mediation service to clients experiencing the breakdown of their relationship. Typically, but not exclusively, this may involve both financial matters and arrangements for children. I am also committed to helping clients avoid the need for costly, adversarial court proccedings. I am licensed as a direct access barrister.
