Hi there. I'm a professional photographer originally from Scotland but happily married and settled in Surbiton, Surrey. I've always been a photographer. I started in 1992 whilst studying for a degree in Photography at Napier in Edinburgh taking photographs of fashion and celebrities. I moved to London in 1997 and after marrying in 2003 I switched to photographing weddings and families after the birth of my daughter. I absolutely love my career. I get to record amazing weddings and record one of the happiest day of a couple's life. I love the idea of families looking through the photographs I took of their wedding day and sharing it for generations to come With families you are recording a little time capsule of relationships. These are the images a family will put up on their walls to say "This is my family and we am so proud of them". It's definitely a brilliant career.

Before having my family my love of photography lead me to photograph 2 of ITV's GMT's in Mauritius and South Africa. Prior to turning my skills to lifestyle photography I was an editorial photographer with commissions to photograph celebrities as diverse as Jon Bon Jovi to Jodie Kidd to Terry Wogan as well as favourites Michael Palin and Ricky Gervais - who was hilarious by the way! During this time I worked for Getty in the States, The Sunday Times, the BBC, Kiss 100, Scotland on Sunday, The Saturday and Sunday Herald in Scotland as well as numerous press shoots for record companies and private individuals.
