Gill Hardy

I am an experienced global talent consultant with a background in public relations consulting. I worked for global PR agency Hill + Knowlton Strategies as a director, and also for Unilever earlier in my career. In 2005, I co-founded an executive search firm which enabled me to blend my knowledge of communications with my interest in people! Over the next ten years, McKenzie Finn gained an enviable reputation for its insightful approach to search mandates and grew services to include training and coaching for high performers. I've recently joined WPP the world's largest communications services group, employing 170,000 people working in 3,000 offices in 110 countries. Based in London, reporting to the Global Recruitment Director, I am responsible for our most senior levels of recruitment, as well as talent initiatives for our group agencies with a particular focus on communications, PR, and healthcare. Acting as partners to our leaders within the WPP network, we are dedicated to identifying, retaining and keeping track of top talent across all marketing disciplines worldwide. I also continue to lead training and public speaking forums on the subject of talent attraction and retention.
