An award-winning Executive Producer and Director with vast international experience in creating innovative and inventive production solutions in a wide range of situations, Gillian has developed, directed and series produced some of the highest rating television production brands in the world including: Neighbors, Home & Away, Big Brother,Singapore Idol, and Going Home.
In the 1990's, Gillian worked as Supervising Producer and Director alongside Joanne Brough (Dallas, Falcon Crest, and The Walton's) to set up an English Drama Unit with the Television Corporation of Singapore. Together they developed drama from the ground up training scriptwriters, directors, cast and crew
With a history of successful start-ups under her belt Gill directed the first ever Pan-Asian talk show geared for women, The May Lee Show (Star World HK) and was the Co-Creator and Executive Producer of Channel 5's first long-form drama series Red Thread for MediaCorp in Singapore.
She also produced Going Home, the world's first interactive topical television drama which was written, produced and aired on the same day five nights a week.
Gill was also the Producer for Singapore Idol (Fremantle Media Asia) and the Executive Producer for local adaptation of Ripley's Believe It Or Not (Sony Pictures).
She is known as the actors’ director and has worked with such well-known people as Josh Lawson (House of Lies) , Guy Pearce (Memento, Iron Man 3), Alan Dale (The Practice), Ng Chin Han (The dark Night, Contagion) Ben Mendelson (Bloodline, The Dark Knight Rises).
