Gillian Fournier

Gillian is an all around artist from the New England region. Though she graduated with a BFA in photography from the New Hampshire Institute of Art, it is not her only area of interest. She also loves to create book arts, mixed media works and is in the process of learning how to add an encaustic element to her future works. She believes in one of a kind works (even digital ones); which is why all of her prints are unique…no reproductions. She firmly believes that once a picture is sold, it belongs only to that person to hopefully, make their home or office a better place.

Currently, Gillian is working on launching an art movement in New Hampshire called Pop Up Portsmouth in conjunction with Brenton Barnes (a MassArt alum) where all artists can have their work shown with no commission in a public place. She is also working on a series called Little House in the Urban featuring a small doll house/light up home while shooting weddings, bands, and other commercial sessions.
