Destiny Johnson

I'm Destiny Gillin, a jack of many trades but I am happy to say Social Media Marketing is my strong suit. I grew up in the colorful city of Las Vegas. Minus the showgirls & casinos it is a completely normal place to live. I view Vegas as a playground for creativity and spontaneity, unparalleled to any other place in the world.
I recently graduated with a degree in Business Marketing from the University of Nevada Reno this May at the top of my class.

Currently, I am the Social Media Specialist at IMI Vegas. my interest for Internet marketing began with an internship at a small non-profit, raising money for foster care children, and has flourished into a career working with small local businesses to large-scale corporations alike.
As a daughter of two independent business owners, I understand the amount of time, energy, and personal investment that is put into a small business. I design custom campaigns for every client according to their needs, wants, and budget and can execute every type of social media work ranging from original content creation to pure advertising through social networks.
The best best part of social media marketing is its ever-changing nature as technology changes and communication continues to evolve. I enjoy staying current with social media and make it a personal goal to always be a first-mover. In my spare time I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time with my husband, and playing with my Pomeranian named Rue. In addition to being IMI Vegas’ Social Media Specialist, I have also performed as a dancer in many professional productions and magic shows.
