"I am passionate about history, Furness and Furness Abbey and I am a keen family and local historian. I am Chair of "Furness Abbey Fellowship" and am working to improve the visitor experience and education at the abbey.We hold an annual Medieval Fair at the end of summer in the abbey precincts.
Love walking-especially the 40 mile Keswick to Barrow Walk, during which funds are raised for Dystonia. Gill is married, has 3 grown up children and two grandsons.
