Hi, my name is Gilman and I live with my family in the Pacific Northwest. It doesn't rain here as much as people believe but it is often overcast. Living here teaches you to cherish those moments in the sun. I am protective of my time with my family and enjoy photography as well as a quixotic attempt to train the family cat to a harness and leash.

While trained as an electrical engineer, my vocation since 1990 has been software engineering. I have an extensive background in operating systems, graphics, and application frameworks and have 17 patents in the computer and software industries. Currently, I am Senior VP of Design and Engineering for HBO's Digital Products team (both in NY and Seattle), where I am proud to work on our streaming and promotional platforms (HBO NOW, HBO GO, MAX GO, hbo.com),as well as experimenting with interactive and immersive storytelling technologies. It's a lot of fun!

I am looking for Software Development Engineers who have a broad set of experiences and interests, a solid track record of delivering high-quality code, and experience with engaging user experiences (both front and back end).
