Gilman Derosier

Currently headquartered in North Carolina, Gilman Derosier has spent years building a successful career in the welding industry. Mr. Derosier was educated at the Howell Cheney Vocational Technical School, where he was an honor student and earned the John Daggett award for welding and blueprint reading. After graduation, Mr. Derosier began his career at United Steel, where he first worked as a welder before being promoted to foreman. As foreman he supervised a team of welders and dealt directly with the contractors on behalf of his team. Gilman Deroiser's tenure at United Steel provided him with a firm foundation to continue his work at Butler Custom Services and Davis Steel and Iron. At both companies Mr. Derosier interacted with the contractors, managed projects and sites, supervised personnel, and prepared quotes and estimates.

Today, Gilman Derosier is the owner and foreman of Royal Welding, where he supervises he company's day-to-day operations, including processing payroll, purchasing supplies, hiring and supervising personnel, and discussing the status and timetables of projects with contractors. Mr. Derosier strives to maintain a very hands-on approach to management, and the company has completed several large-scale projects under his direction. Gilman Derosier has supervised work on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte's Prospector Hall, as well as the University of Connecticut's West Classroom Building.

Gilman Derosier is as equally dedicated to his family and his community as he is to his career. Mr. Derosier is a proud and active member of the Carmel Baptist Church, as well as an avid outdoorsman, often going fishing, hunting, camping, and ATV riding in his spare time.
