Gil Ortega, known to many as The Chief Rainmaker, it’s become his moniker. He is a modern day Customer Acquisition Specialist who leverages advanced data technologies. He’s had two successful exits after founding three different lead generation companies. Founding Profit Worldwide, Inc. in 2004, as a marketing firm specializing in lead generation, he saw a shift occurring within programmatic advertising and transformed his company on a pivot, in 2013. Today, he focuses on innovating People-Based data products, and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) with powerful in-market analytics for clients across a range of industries.

He’s developed a one of a kind, stackable, layered process and data technology, building upon the foundation of People-Based Marketing for Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) to Agencies, Brands, Data Owners, SaaS Platforms, Publishers and Political Campaigns.

Gil lives in his home town of San Diego, California. He loves playing chess, painting and trout fishing.

As a lifelong Artist, Gil crafts marketing plans with the creative eye of a data maestro and has the spirit of a serial entrepreneur with thirty years of successful start-up marketing experience.
