Gil Pasternak

I’m a researcher, writer and academic editor working as Professor of Photographic Cultures and Heritage in the Photographic History Research Centre (PHRC) at De Montfort University in the UK and serving as Europe and UK Editor of the peer-reviewed journal Photography & Culture. My investigations focus on intersections of cultural heritage, photography, and politics. Commonly I work with communities, institutions, and executive stakeholders to enhance cultural interaction and socio-political tolerance through heritage documentation.
