Gina Imbrogno
Physical Therapist in 101-1345 Taylor Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3M 3Y9, Canada
I recognized my love for physical activity at a young age, and over time, it grew into a passion, especially when I started teaching children about the importance of physical activity and movement. My educational journey led me to graduate from the University of Manitoba, School of Medical Rehabilitation, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Rehabilitation-Physiotherapy. Since then, my dedication to physiotherapy has been unwavering, and I am committed to staying updated with the latest research and pursuing continuing education to enhance my skills.
Shortly after graduating, I pursued further studies and obtained certification to practice acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. Additionally, I am trained in advanced Dry Needling and hold certification as a GTT practitioner.
Throughout my 13+ years in the field, I have consistently sought opportunities for personal and professional growth. I have completed various courses focusing on advanced manual therapy, myofascial techniques, treatment of the jaw, advanced exercise prescription from rehab to sport, and functional movement screening (FMS).
The principles of lifelong health and fitness are deeply ingrained in my daily life, and during my free time, I regularly indulge in activities like cycling, strength training, yoga, and running.
When I developed my physiotherapy clinic, I centered it around a mission statement that aims to empower individuals through exercise, education, and manual therapy, ultimately helping them return to a healthy, active lifestyle.
I am genuinely excited about sharing my knowledge of the human body with you and empowering you to take control of your pain and, consequently, your life!
