Gina joined Pivot Physical Therapy in 2005 as the athletic trainer for Howard High School in Howard County. In additional to her certification as an athletic trainer, Gina is certified in Performance Enhancement, Fitness Nutrition, and is a Golf Fitness Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Gina is also an instructor for the care and prevention of athletic injuries and a certified CPR and AED instructor through the National Safety Council.

Gina’s background includes experiences at the high school (Howard, and Frazier High School), Amateur (United States Figure Skating, United State Olympic Training Center, and United States Golf Association US Open) and Professional (Boston Red Sox Baseball Club) levels. Gina has been actively involved in athletic training at the state, district, and national level since becoming a member of the NATA in 2002 and BOC certified in 2006. She is currently the chair for the secondary school athletic trainer committee for the state of Maryland.

Gina began her athletic training interest in high school under her athletic trainer. Gina studied exercise science and sport studies at Rutgers University- New Brunswick and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2004. Upon graduating, she pursued a Masters of Science in Athletic Training from California University of PA.
