Gingerbread Kindergarten

We at Gingerbread Kindergarten feel that play is more than just fun: we know that play is fundamental. We find that playing is an early childhood work, an access point to real learning, imagination, and academic preparedness. We aim to develop happy, confident learners who can think independently and enjoy discovering new things. Our classrooms follow Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework, Belonging, Being and Becoming. This implies that our activities are inspired by values that promote belongingness, curiosity and development between babyhood and school readiness. Each week, the teachers monitor children, intentionally plan and establish objectives to nurture the children regarding emotional, social, and physical development, as well as development in language and thinking. Our desire is to make kids self-confident, valued, and ready to learn more. We provide them with the skills of being lifelong learners who are both school-ready and life-ready. Here it begins with playful, purposeful learning and culminates in confident, independent little humans.
