I graduated with my Doctorate in Education from the University of Central Florida in 2012. While completing my doctorate, my research focused on the engagement of male, college basketball players. Currently, I partner with faculty within UCF's Devos Sports Management program to produce research related to student athletes. On my own, my writing focuses on student success.

Recently, I have worked with the University of Central Florida in the Office of the First Year Experience. I lent my expertise in issues of retention and engagement as I directed the Strategies for Student Success program. Additionally, I am an instructor in UCF's freshman seminar program as well as the universities LEAD scholars program.
