I studied economics and quantitative methods in Geneva, got a masters degree from Stanford University in Management Science and Engineering and obtained a doctorate at the Department of Econometrics of the University of Geneva in 1995. I was a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution in Stanford and then at Yale University.

I currently work as a strategy and foresight designer for SIG, a public utilities company active in the fields of energy, water, the environment and telecommunications. I also co-created of the Lean Startup Geneva meetup and is active in several associations such as Think Services and Opendata.ch. My role is to foster the development of the company strategy including innovation and digital at SIG.

My main fields of interest and expertise are strategy, design thinking, lean approaches, digital transformation, and foresight methods.

Information, algorithms, and services are the new strategic resources of our era. Technology, society, energy, and economics influence each other and are undergoing very disruptive changes. Creating new business models will be of paramount importance in the near future not only for our businesses but also for the entire civil society.

Interests: strategy, foresight, design thinking, service design, innovation, group animation, open data, visualization, statistics, business models, public sector, mindfulness.
