Three Tips For Choosing A Couch
A couch is the most important part of a drawing room. How can we buy a suitable couch? Here I share three principles for choosing a couch.
1. The main structure of the couch is it firm or not?
The role of the couch determines that the overall frame of the couch must be firm. When you buy a couch, you can hold the couch by hand to shake it back and forth. You can also sit on the couch and shake it to see if the couch has a loose structure. If not, the structure of the couch is firm and worth buying. If you feel the structure of the couch loose, then don't buy it.
BEST MATERIAL:
Frame: solid hardwood & engineered wood
Legs: solid hardwood (screwed in/out, removeable)
2. The comfort level of the couch is it soft or hard?
The couch is where we often sit and sleep, so the comfort of the couch is a very fondamental thing. When purchasing, be sure to sit up and try it yourself. Try the height of the couch seat cushion, the seat depth and the height of the back, and also try the softness and hardness of the couch. If the couch is too soft, it will be very uncomfortable to sit for a long time. Hard couches are more likely to cause serious muscle aches. You have to feel it to choose the right comfort.
BEST MATERIAL:
Seat Cushions: filled with Polyurethane Foam Core with 1.2” Air Performance Memory Foam on both sides (CertiPUR-US approved)
Back Cushions: filled with soft Polyester Fiber
3. The style of the couch, is the couch matching with your drawing room?
The couch is a large piece of furniture, which has a great influence on the decoration of the entire living room space. A suitable couch can enhance the quality of the drawing room, an inappropriate couch will make the drawing room look ugly. Therefore, when purchasing a couch, we must consider the overall style of the house, the style of the couch should be consistent with the style of the drawing room.
Choose a room style that reflects your personal taste. If you want something classic, consider the classic chesterfield design; think about a more contemporary feel, consider the low design; want a retro look, choose a medieval tapered hardwood leg featuring the style.
