GIOVANNA 'SPUPPET SHOWS

I am an Italian Artist, born in Florence.
I've worked within the Art field for many years. Two years before I emigrated to London, I worked as an Art Teacher in Primary schools.When I came to London I continued with teaching.

I've always loved to write stories and I developed my passion into my career.

By coincidence, one day a friend,who was visiting me, found two puppets on the road side and brought them to me. At first I didn't like it but then I decided to wash them and bring them with me to the nursery where I'm working.
From that moment my passion for puppets begun! As soon as I saw the wonder in the children eyes, I knew that a beautiful relationship had begun.
For the first time I felt a magical connection between the children and I. The wonder and magic that comes from innocent play .

The line which separates adults and children became a circle of energy that flowed between us and that allowed me to share joy with them.This was the moment my passion was born and I have been cultivating it ever since through my work as a children entertainer.

Allmy stories are originals and unique and take ideas from life which inspires me.
Each story is made for an educational purpose but they also contain a lot of fun by many activities:
Dancing,Singing, Magic Tricks.
Some stories are inspired by the natural world and weave educational nuances into them.
My stories have a philosophical approach with moral prints.

During my shows I create an atmosphere of improvisations that allow the children also to interact within my stories in their own special ways. My stories are adaptable for all ages.

The common characteristic of my style is a fusion of many activities framed in special effects.
I use various materials to emphasise the children mind and interact through the magic of storytelling.

My object goes beyond “child entertainment” as I wish to positively inspire young minds and hearts to view life in a beautiful way.
