Giovany Aguilar

I am Giovany Aguilar, and I am an undergraduate student studying at California State University, San Bernardino for a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education. I am a member of the CSUSB Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Lewis. I have been playing in the CSUSB Symphony Orchestra for two years during which I've been invited to play with the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra to play Gustav Holst's "The Planets" and have performed internationally in the Seoul Art Center in Seoul, South Korea. I have performed in two chamber groups during my undergraduate studies at California State University, San Bernardino, including a chamber trio which consisted of a piano, cello, and double bass, and a septet which consisted of a violin, viola, cello, double bass, French horn, clarinet, and bassoon. For the trio, we performed an arrangement of the first movement of Five Pieces for 2 Violins and Pianoby Dmitri Shostakovich for piano, cello, and double bass. For the septet we performed the first movement from Septet in Eb major by Ludwig van Beethoven titled Adagio, Allegro con Brio.
