Giselle Farinhas

Giselle Farinhas is a lawyer and managing partner of GF Advogados e Consultores, a law firm based in Rio de Janeiro with national and international reach. She specializes in public and private law, focusing on the business sector.

She is the author of more than seven legal books, some of which have been recommended by the University of Lisbon (Portugal), the China Law Society, and the University of Shenzhen. Giselle has a distinguished career within the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), having held positions as President of Committees, Directorates, Councils, and Advisory Boards at the national level.

She has experience working with the State Attorney's Office of Rio de Janeiro and the Public Prosecutor's Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro. Her contributions have been recognized with several public awards, including the Leonel Brizola Diploma from the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro, as well as multiple commendations from the City Council of Rio de Janeiro and the City Council of São Paulo.

Giselle Farinhas was the first writer in Brazil to defend the constitutionality of the differentiated construction regime through her book on the subject.

She also gained prominence in the political sphere with her book Lawfare and the Spectacularization of Justice!, becoming a reference in Europe for analyses of foreign policies.

In addition to her legal career, Giselle is an entrepreneur with strong negotiation expertise, working closely with investors and the business sector.
