Giselle Enid
Puerto Rico
Born and raised in the west side of Puerto Rico. Since I was little, I was interested in the performing arts, but there were no places nearby to develop my skills. As soon as I graduated from high school, I studied an Associate Degree in Humanities at the University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla. I was a member of the Theater Group of that institution, then moved to the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras, where I majored in Drama, and certified as a Drama Teacher. In this institution I was a member of the University Traveler Theater, and worked in several plays as an actress, stage manager, props assistant, scenery designer, director assistant, and creative and general director.
I stood out as an actress working in theater and TV shows, with renowned local productions. I'm currently a Drama Professor at the UPR, Aguadilla Campus, leading the University Theater, [the same place where all this started] where I'll be presenting a few performances per semester, and a Drama Teacher at the Department of Education. My primary purpose is to lead art and culture to the forgotten West area of my country. I'm currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Cultural Agency at UPR Rio Piedras.
