Hi, welcome to my professional portfolio for my 3104008 English class. You may be asking who am I, so I'll be talking a little about myself. I was born in May 17, 1998 which means that I'm 18 years old right now and I live in Puerto Rico. My full name is Gishaly Z. Huertas Peña, but my friends call me Gisha or Gigi. It’s hard to describe yourself, but if i had to do it, i would say that I considered myself as a honest, confident, intelligent, outgoing, charismatic young women. My hobbies are going exploring the beautiful Island that i live in and reading/writing books. My house is situated in Naguabo, where I have lived for nine years now, but I considered myself from Luquillo. That’s because I’ve studied all my life there, including my high school, Isidro A. Sanchez, where I graduated with academic excellence and a certificate as an Administrative Assistance.

Since I was little my mother taught me that I had to work hard for what I wanted, so since I was 15 I started working part time as a nanny. Later I worked as an administrative assistance at the Wyndham Rio Mar Hotel and then in the office of Luquillo Emergency Management. When I was a little kid i knew I wanted to help people. I didn't knew exactly how, it wasn't till I was 8 that i started having really bad pain in my lower back and my mother had to give me massages every two nights that I started getting fascinated with the benefits that exercise and massages can give to the human body. Now I’m studying at the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao doing a bachelor’s degree in Biology with the dream to latter on became a Physical Therapist and have my own clinic.
