A clinical psychologist and researcher by profession, I am equally drawn to the strange and the mundane, to empty spaces and crowds, to light and to the darkness that allows me to appreciate it. I have a deep respect for inactivity, which I view as a driving reason for my productive and introspective underpinnings. Navigating through Delhi life, especially zipping through the roads in my hero honda has made me love its various contours and ever shifting shapes that often reflect in my writing. Between cooking, watering my plants, reading a good gothic thriller or a historic novel, or perhaps creating something that looks a bit like artwork, I guess I am just a uniquely ordinary person.

I started this blog (poetry espresso) to put down pieces of thoughts that reflect people in relationships and the depths they experienced just seemed to come out in the form of poetry.
