Born in Cattolica in 1986, she studied acoustic guitar with Prof. Pietro Nobile, later specializing in sitār with Smt. Saswatti Saha. In 2009 she obtained a Performer diploma in fingerstyle acoustic guitar at the C.P.M. (professional music center) of Milan, where she also studied jazz guitar with Prof. Pietro La Pietra. In 2015 she obtained a diploma in sitār , Tradizioni Musicali Extraeuropee ad Indirizzo Indologico, at the Music Conservatory “A. Pedrollo” of Vicenza under the guidance of Prof. Guido Schiraldi. Having won a grant in 2012 at the Music Conservatory of Vicenza, she performed in duo with tabla player Ramon Rodriguez at the Ex Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Battuti of Belluno. She spent long periods in Mumbai, India where she continues her training in sitār with her gurumā Smt. Saswatti Saha and sarod player Pt. Pradeep Barot. In the last years, she has also turned her attention to the study of haṭha yoga under the guidance of Maurizio Di Massimo, a yoga teacher at the Centro Yoga Rasa of Pesaro in Italy. She has worked with various artistic associations in Italy and in Europe.
Education
At present she is a disciple of Smt. Saswatti Saha in Mumbai, India and she is a researcher in the field of nada yoga at the Centro Yoga Rasa of Pesaro, Italy.
2015 Laurea triennale in sitār, Tradizioni Musicali Extraeuropee ad Indirizzo Indologico, at the Conservatorio “A. Pedrollo” of Vicenza under the guidance of Prof. Guido Schiraldi (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in Music) Final mark: 110/110 with distinctions Thesis: “The development of the guru-śiṣya-paramparā inside the Maihar gharāṇa”.
2009 Diploma in fingerstyle acoustic guitar at the C.P.M. (professional music center) of Milan under the guidance of Prof. Pietro Nobile. Diploma in theory and harmony at the C.P.M. of Milan.
2006-2009 Three years course in electric guitar and jazz styles at the C.P.M. of Milan with Prof. Pietro La Pietra.
