Giulia Brugnetti
interpreter, translator, and University lecturer in Milan, Italy
I'm Giulia Brugnetti, a conference interpreter and translator working between Italian, English, and Spanish, based in Milan and available to travel worldwide. I work in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting for international organizations including the UN, NATO, and the Council of Europe Development Bank, for financial institutions like Borsa Italiana, and for broadcasters like Sky. My core specializations are economics and finance, geopolitics, TV, and publishing, alongside many other sectors you'll find detailed on my website, giuliabrugnetti.com.
I started interpreting in 2018, building my early career through remote work and television interpretation. Since then my work has expanded into political, economic, and cultural settings: I've lent my voice to figures including Donald Trump, Pope Francis, Pope Leo XIV, Giorgia Meloni, King Charles III, and António Guterres, as well as authors like Irvine Welsh and Eros Ramazzotti.
I teach simultaneous interpreting (Spanish-Italian) on the Master's program at IULM University in Milan. I'm an AIIC pre-candidate and a member of AITI and ANITI. Alongside interpreting, I offer chef d'équipe services and full multilingual event management for projects that need several interpreters and language combinations coordinated at once.
