Give Truth A Chance
This site will be dedicated to educating the masses on any philosophical, religious or scientific level. Hopefully we can accomplish this together by creating a community to respectfully debate. Our mission is a rational, evidenced based understanding of this world. We pursue the elimination of religious fundamentalism, indoctrination and superstition. I am not claiming to have the answer to anything. I preach "I don't know" cause in reality we really don't know. This doesn't mean you can't rule things out, just by looking at the evidence. I am a proud atheist but practiced Christianity for about 10 years of my young life. I began studying the Bible/Qur'an and was astonished with the hypocrisy I found. As a "christian" in church I remember hearing about how loving god was and how just god was but as I dove further and further into the bible I could only find the contrary and the places I found God's love it was always accompanied with hate, judgement and murder to another faction. I thought there was a time and a place for this? The second coming! Apparently not. The contradictions I have found have led me to pursue in the creation of this website that I may try to educate with the help of a strong atheist community. I am finding myself on YouTube and other social sites surrounded by "theists" that have not ever come to read the "word of God". They believe what they are told and don't dive deep enough to see the fallacy. The scriptures I bring to their attention they have no explanation for and I just don't get it, why not Give Truth A Chance?
