Hi there, at GKat we believe in making a fair platform for all fashion passionate people, and are now creating this opportunity for African fashion designers and Models around the world, to showcase their work in big fashion cities like Paris, London and New York.
'GKat Africa Fashion Awards' will premier in August 2014 attracting over 100 semi-finalists from Colleges and Universities. A brief will be sent out to the students who will be expected to create sketches relating to the brief. 30 students will then be selected and sponsored to construct the sketched garments which they will showcase at a grand finale catwalk. Only three winning designers will then be chosen. The Lucky three will have an opportunity to stardom the sky is the limit at this stage. Lots of prizes to be won.
