I am a part-time unqualified teacher, I have been working onand off for the past four years primary and secondary in schools in greaterLondon, as well as vocational colleges. My emphasis is on teaching science andmaths to lower set and SEN students. In my free time, I am a STEM ambassador,for the governmental educational charity STEMNET, as well as running my owneducational charity, GlamSci, whose main aim is to encourage more young womenand disadvantaged young men into science and the related fields.

Outside of my teaching, I am undertaking a Bachelor’s degreein Chemistry via the Open University, where I hope to continue my studiesonwards into a postgraduate doctoral level.

I work very closely with the Royal Society of Chemistry(RSC), as a member of the Kent local section, where I work as an Early Careerrepresentative, and the South East Educational Division where I sit as a memberon their board. I have also spent much of my time working a motivationalspeaker to young people, women, in via schools, charities and companies, mostrecently I was a guest speaker with WISE at the Big Bang Fair in Birmingham andhave spoken at the international CPD teaching event, World Teach In, atImperial College London. I have written for many publications, including piecesin the Telegraph, Adult Learning and for a variety of blogs.
