I am Paula the Manager of Waikato Childrens Literacy Charitable Trust in Hamilton. The Trust's new web site is www.childrensliteracy.co.nz I am a registered not for profit charity in Hamilton. The Trust needs funding to create new inspiring Literacy Classes as soon as possible in the Nawton Community in Hamilton. The programme Ray of Hope will run for 12 weeks two afternoons a week on a Wednesday afternoon from 3pm to 5.30pm , and on a Friday afternoon 3pm to 5.30pm. For 12 children aged 5 to 12 years including special needs children enrollments taken now. I will be teaching English, reading, numeracy, sentence construction, comprehension also. These classes will be bilingual and I will be employing a Te Reo Teacher from the funding I receive plus buying 13 laptops for the childrens use and also educational work books to work from. There will be afternoon tea provided on both days hot snacks and hot drinks. The classes will only cost $5 per afternoon class. I will also be having a group supporting my Ray of Hope Programme a piano teacher, a guitarist, and i hope to get a dance teacher on board also. for Kapahaka.
