I cross-fertilize ideas from industries that rarely comingle to build products that are singular and indispensable. I've taken products from concept to launch at startups, the companies that acquired them, and in the Fortune 100.

Innovation with the right balance of vision, execution and audacity gets me too excited to sleep. Betterment, Oscar Insurance, and Paper come to mind. So do Nina Simone, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Beggars Banquet. If you're building something which is gutsy, visionary and solid I'd love to hear from you.

I also hope to one day build a brick pizza oven in my garden and to hike Denali with my son Max and my big brother Jake. Any tips on those ambitions are also welcome!
