I am the Director of Glasgow Music Studios. I started my career in business by working in a marketing executive role.

I realised I wanted to start my own business when I was working for someone else (The Herald & Times). I wanted to make my own fortune. After the tragic and sudden death of my dad I decided that life was too short and so left to start re-training in music and creating my new business venue – Glasgow Music Studios. I saw a gap in the market helped by my business degree and also my 6 years marketing experience. There were no studios run at a high standard and there was room for a top quality service for recording and rehearsal.

You can find Glasgow Music Studios in Merchant City, the thriving cultural sector of Glasgow’s city centre. Glasgow Music Studios is proud to be a part of this cultural hub and Scotland’s great music scene since October 2010. We provide rehearsal space, recording sessions, music lessons, recording experiences and workshops for musicians throughout Glasgow and surrounding areas. With our brand new fitted studio rooms, first of their kind in Scotland we give the city’s talent a place where they can come and create their perfect sound.

Glasgow Music Studios initially provided rehearsal studio space and music lessons for all musicians in Glasgow. With its friendly service and top quality studio facilities it has soon become a popular choice for bands and musicians alike. Within months, due to demand the studios have expanded to house three recording studios and 6 rehearsal and teaching rooms. The studios have recorded a wide genre of bands from Heavy Metal to Classical, Dance to Rap and Folk to Punk. Glasgow Music Studios prides itself on being flexible and providing music for ALL abilities, ages and genres.
