Glenn DeGuzman, Ed.D. is a leadership development scholar-practitioner dedicated to helping individuals explore and activate their leadership capacity while deepening their cultural identity. For more than two decades, he has inspired students, educators, and professionals to engage meaningfully in their personal and collective growth.

With over 25 years of experience in higher education, Glenn brings a multifaceted perspective shaped by his work across a wide range of student affairs functional areas, as well as his experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. His approach bridges theory and practice, creating learning environments that are both intellectually grounded and highly engaging.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Glenn is widely recognized for his dynamic storytelling, playful facilitation style, and ability to foster authentic connection through interactive and experiential learning. His work has impacted high school students, college communities, and professionals across industries—both throughout the United States and internationally.

Glenn currently serves at the University of California, Berkeley as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Residential Life, where he continues to shape transformative student experiences and cultivate inclusive communities.
