I am the founder and volunteer director of the non-profit Jubilee Farms. Jubilee Farms mission is to train subsistence farmers to end hunger for all children. You can view photos of Jubilee Farms' work at www.facebook.com/jubileefarms. We have projects and partners in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, and South Africa. I have a PhD in Agronomy.

I live in Emporia, Kansas and work at Emporia State University as an algebra instructor and at Bluestem Farm and Ranch Supply store. I have three wonderful grown sons and three grandaughters. I am married to the amazing, beautiful and loving Lisa Fell.

I am a naturalist and nature adventurer. I am frequently out running, hiking, biking or cross-country skiing. in wild areas. That is mostly in the Flint HIlls of Kansas but also in Colorado when I can get there. I also love nature photography, mostly native wildflower and writing poetry inpsired by nature, emotions and life. I am a gardener and love creating gardens in combination with wildlife habitat. I have a blog at wapatangawilds.org where I post photos, poems and reflections from nature.
