George Linthicum

George began his career in education in 1971. Over 22 of those years George has served as a public school administrator. Currently, George is the Superintendent of Arlee Joint School District #8 located in the beautiful Jocko valley of western Montana. George has also served as a school psychologist.

George holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in education from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland. He holds an Education Specialist degree in School Administration from Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana. George completed requirements for an Education Doctorate at the University of Montana, Missoula, Montana. In addition, George completed Advanced Graduate Studies in The Teaching of Ethics, and holds a Class 6 Montana License in School Psychology.

George advocates for children and their families in both his role as a school district administrator, school psychologist, and as an independent advocate.
