Devin Holmes

Devin B. Holmes is Chairman and CEO of Warrior Gateway (www.warriorgateway.org), a national non-profit that connects members of the military community (wounded warriors, transitioning service members, veterans and their families) with trusted and reliable service organizations, programs, educators and employers in their local communities.

In 2009, Devin left Silicon Valley to move to Washington, DC to lead a coalition of non-profits and businesses to develop Warrior Gateway. Working with the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, numerous Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs partners, Warrior Gateway launched in just 3 months and has been growing ever since. With a growing network of over 200,000 non-profit and government programs participating, Warrior Gateway has become the go-to destination on the web for returning service members and military families. With ongoing partnerships and collaboration with organizations such as the Clinton Global Initiative, Easter Seals, Volunteers of America and others, Devin continues to lead the efforts to ensure that all veterans and their families are connected to the local support in their communities.

Devin's efforts were recognized in 2011 with the Federal Computer Week Fed-100 award for significant contributions to the Federal IT community and in 2012 with a ComputerWorld Honors Laureate for his innovation in creating an open-source platform for information sharing.

Prior to Warrior Gateway, Devin spent 15 years building innovative, business-driven, technology-savvy organizations. He has led software development and professional services teams globally and held executive management positions at YUDU Media, The New York Times Company and OneSoft Corporation. Before joining the Warrior Gateway, Devin worked at Cisco Systems where he helped IT and Marketing executives in a $1 billion initiative. Additionally, he has helped launch several Silicon Valley-based social media start-ups from idea conception through initial funding rounds.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration from both London and Columbia Business Schools and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

As a 7 time Escape from Alcatraz triathlon finisher and Ironman Brazil finisher, when not training Devin spends his free time skiing and snowboarding in the winter and kiteboarding in the summer.
