The Biomedical Admission Policy (BSAP) is a legally binding agreement between you and the independent Island of Barbados, this document stipulates that you will be approved for medical care in any of the public hospitals in Barbados that are approved by the Government. This policy outlines the criteria your doctor must meet to pass your medical exam and receive any necessary treatment. The policy does not require you to pay any money. Your only responsibility is to complete the application process and to meet any other financial obligations that may be outlined in the document.

In order to be admitted into any public hospital in Barbados, you must complete and sign the Bonaire Health Declaration Form. This document can be found at a variety of locations on the island. You can also find copies of this document online. Once you enter your name, birthdate and social security number on the Bonaire Health Declaration Form, you will immediately be sent an acknowledgement that the information you provided is updated. You will need to have a copy of this document, along with a copy of your passport, if you plan to travel outside of Barbados.

If you plan to enter bona fide residency in the United States or Canada, you will need to complete the application for admission to a hospital in the United States or Canada. If you choose to go through a port of entry for immigration into the United States, you will need to complete the application for immigration into the United States. The applicant must also pass a Pcr, physical, and mental score test. Your application will be denied if you fail any of these tests.
