World traveler by day, and tomato enthusiast by night, I, Genevieve Lynch, can say my interests range from one spectrum to another. I began traveling with my parents at an early age. My first plane ride was at six weeks old, and my destination was Michigan. I was on the way to visit my grandparents in the bitter month of February. From then on, traveling became a part of my life.
Every year, my parents, my sister, and I go on a major, two week trip to somewhere new. We’ve been to some of the most spectacular places in Europe such as Italy, France, England, Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary, but nothing, in my opinion, could ever top the tropics. The Caribbean will always be the most fascinating place to me. Coming from a hometown where the ocean looks like sewer water and seeing your feet is impossible, the Caribbean’s water is something unimaginable. I am so fortunate to be as experienced with travel as I am, and I can’t thank my parents enough.
My other, slightly strange interest is tomatoes. This fruit is also my favorite food of all time. I’ll prove it, just ask to see my lock screen. I eat a tomato every single day, whether it is cherry tomatoes, cut in slices, or in a meal. I conclude that the reasoning for my enjoyment of tomatoes is that I am also a relatively clean eater. I enjoy making “smart” choices to help my body and keep healthy. To be honest, having a tomato as my favorite food is definitely not the weirdest characteristic of mine. It is definitely up there, however the other qualities will have to be shared for another time. ;)
