Steven Glynn

Assistant Sports Therapist and Exercise Science graduate

I am an enthusiastic Sport and Exercise Scientist (BSc graduate) from the University of Limerick. I am currently studying a post graduate course in Sport and exercise Therapy (MSc) at the University of Gloucestershire.

I am a hard working, punctual individual who strives to get the most of myself and others. Over the past four years UL has equipped me with excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills that help me work efficiently in diverse environments. I always strive to enhance and update these skills as well as the knowledge necessary to help me improve my understanding and perception of today's working environments. As a sport scientist, it is increasingly significant to adapt myself to the ever changing world of sports related and health problems. Through the acquisition of up to date knowledge, I will ensure that I am fully prepared for the working world as a qualified Sport Scientist and Sports Therapist.

I have a special interest in the development and conditioning of athletes as well as injury pathology, mechanism and rehabilitation ranging from a wide variety of sports. I also have an interest in medical diseases and the role of exercise as an adjunct to other form of therapies and overall healthy functioning of the human body. I am also a twitter junkie.
