My memories of childhood are filled with borderline obsessions of bikes, dirt and whole lot of fun. Half of those memories may have involved me flipping over the bars and munching on a face full of dirt but I have never looked back!

I'm fresh out of university and straight into a new job as event manager in Aberystwyth University. The pay is good but the hours are long. I find myself getting home wondering where the time have gone leaving me picking up the pieces of the days when I could ride for what felt like an eternity.

Que the weekend. The only time when we can let loose, jump on the bike and ride for the pure love of riding a.k.a the 'weekend warror'.

But there's something missing! Riding a bike down a gnarly hill at questionable speeds with a more than questionable sense for one's personal safety is fun, but where's the room for improvement? How can you squeeze an extra few hours out of the week to workout, hit the gym, all with the ultimate goal of improving your riding expereince.

My answer, a combination of my three greatest passions in life; mountain biking, fitness & health and social media - code named Project WREX.
