Fine-art landscape photographer, gallery owner, author, publisher, teacher & blogger. Originally went into photography because of my interest in landscape. Have shot everything from underground power stations, aerial photography and products, to editorial, portraits and nudes. From the old school of film, 5x4", wet darkrooms (an experienced and specialist B&W; printer) and fundamental principles of photography, but now utterly embracing the digital technology and also the web as a way of both communicating, networking and promoting business. I have NO rosy coloured spectacles for film and would ever want to go back. After almost 30 years of shooting all forms of commissions, I am now absolutely happy to be back where I started, shooting landscapes but with infinitely more wisdom and vision. A fascinating and educational journey.
