A 5th-generation native of Riverside, California, Greg Matthews is currently employed as a Vehicular Homicide and Collision Reconstruction Detective for the Riverside Police Department. With almost 23 years experience in law enforcement, Greg specializes in the forensic and mathematical investigation and reconstruction of fatal and serious motorvehicle collisions.

Prior to entering law enforcement, Greg was involved in professional cycling, working as a mechanic for a sucessful US cycling team. His abilities provided him the opportunity to provision the 1992 Cayman Islands Olympic Cycling Team who competed on bicycles and wheels built by Greg.

When not working, Greg enjoys photography and (time permitting) travels extensively.
